Dancers – Full cast
Mary – One of the dancers
Jesus – CoCo
Bearer – Joe
Voiceover – male voice
(lights come on to reveal Jesus in crucified position, held up from behind by Bearer, standing extreme rear of stage.
Fanfare from “Jesus Christ Superstar” plays. Dancers dance/rush around stage as Bearer carries Jesus toward middle of stage.
Bearer sets Jesus down, and dancers assume positions of glorification and/or supplication.
Fanfare dies down, dancers continue the theme by oohing the melody quietly.
Jesus walks toward front of stage, still in crucified position.)
JESUS
(holds bloody wrists out to audience)
I'm Jesus Christ, and I'm dying to save you....
(arms out and down or whatever)

I am the alpha and omega, the Whirlpool and JVC.

MARY
Oh, Jesus! I've been shopping at ABC Warehouse! I'm so SORRY...
JESUS
(gentle laugh. To Mary:)
That's OK, Mary.
(to audience)
